since getting back into lifting a month or so ago after a 10 year layoff, ive had a little wrist pain. really think its more because i sleep wierd with my wrist tucked under sorta. anyhow the old straps i have are worn out and need to get some new ones.

the ones ive used in the past slid over your wrist then you tightened them. im not opposed to the ones that go over the thumb, those are just the ones i bought at the time i was in the market. anyhow, im wanting good sturdy ones, they dont have to be the most expensive, just strong. also, im not sure how to tell what length i would need.

thanks

I'm going to guess you mean wraps and not straps. With that in mind you can't go wrong with any of the APT wraps. I like the convict pro 24" wraps. We've even got the camo style. Great wraps.

I tried Inzer wraps and APT wraps. I like both.

I agree about APT, they make awesome wrist wraps. You can't go wrong with APT.

yeah, i ment wraps. i looked at the apt site before posting this and was confused as to which size i needed. the ones i have now came from crains muscle world (since their only about 45 minutes from me), but they are probably 15 years old now and just too stretchy.

APT - and you want the 36inch - the longer the wrap the tighter you can set it on the wrist! The convicts are a great stiff wrap but the "blue line" or The Wrap are also. Rember they are so strong you may need to get usto them.

I've used the Inzer Iron Wraps Zs (med.) for the last 2 years and like them a lot. I've been looking at APT wraps too and have heard some great things with the quality.

The APT Convicts are great, and I like the Strangulators a lot for training.

I use alot of Titan gear(THP wraps), but I gotta say I love the old Inzer Z wrist-wraps... 24" or 36"

thanks for the input. my birthday is next month, gonna put in an order probably for either the apt (front runner) or inzer. that is if i dont just drive over to Crains and pick up a pair so i dont have to wait on shipping.

I agree, the hybrid blue line APT 36" are my pick-very strong support and comfortable too.
The convicts 36" are very good also.
I have heard the strangulators are great for an all rounder.
APT have a great range and are priced well.

Just drive to crains, not that big of a deal really.
