What fed do you plan on competing in? It founds like a multi-ply fed. If that's the case, then I'd get briefs first.

I'd get briefs first.

I Agree

or get the suit AND some thirty dollar cheap a$$ briefs.

If going multiply I'd get briefs first,...

start with some really light briefs and a suit first..... once you are comfortable then go for a better suit with the light briefs......

Start w/ briefs... As you get heavier add suit, then wraps (full gear) *** Depends on fed if you can use briefs & suit together though!

brief & wraps to start

Like already stated; briefs 1st and wraps (especially if you have any knee issues). After you're comfortable with reasonable weight with that, then get the suit. (This is if your going into a mutiply fed / or a single ply fed that allows briefs like USPF/WPF).

I gotta' ask, is this Bo Jackson of Auburn and Seattle Seahawks fame? Being from Alabama made me curious!

Bo, I just got back from Georgia where I announced at a great WABDL S.E. Record Breakers Bench and Deadlift meet that was sponsored by Monster Energy Drinks and Titan Support systems. Bill Gallespi, who will turn 50 Y.O. in Sept. killed a 744 opening bench! (like a warmup!)He weighed in at a lean looking 302. He just missed 810 twice! That may have been the fastest shot off the chest I've ever seen with 800+! It just liked another inch or two making it to lockout! He may pass the over 50 700 club and go right to an exclusive 800 over 50 club! For those who may not know Bill is the strength coach at Liberty University, and was once on the strength staff with the Seattle Seahawks. At almost 50, he is built like a Sherman Tank! Bill is also one of the nicest and most humble men you'll ever meet. A very refreshing thing now-a-days. There are good genetics in that family as Bill's 22 Y.O. son hit a 661 DL I believe and missed at 700+.

Back to the point. I noticed in your other post that you said you are 35 years old. Auburn's Bo Jackson would be approx. 45 now as he had his 1700+ yard season with Auburn in 1984. I wouldn't have minded having you ride up and working with you on the gear but now you've lost my trust. That's hard to get back with me and I've learned (the hard way) not to surround myself with people I can't trust. I really can't imagine why you would have tried that...too easy to research. Good luck and I may answer your questions on here if I can; but that's it. Sorry.

things are getting wierd around here

I kind of thought it was odd that Bo Jackson would be posting on here but you never know, then after looking at some of his posts there is no way he is THE Bo Jackson because Jackson is 46 and the poster here said in another thread he was getting ready to turn 35 soon and lives and coaches ball in Alabama-Jackson lives in Illinois.Sometimes I just don't get this *****.

Speaking of Bo, what an amazing athlete!

He was the most incredible all around athlete I ever saw. If he had not gotten the hip destroyed, I think he would have re-written the NFL record book for running backs. The Bo and Raiders vs. the Boz and Seahawks game on Monday Night Football was the most awesome individual display of athleticism I've seen on a football field. Don Meredith was right when he said, "My God! He looks like a grown man playing with kids!"

The only performance that might equal it was Gayle Sayers 6 touchdown game during his rookie year. Both were truely magic, awe inspiring things to see!
