Hey guys, thought id post this just so i remember what I looked like at the time so i can refer back to it so i can see my gains and where i need to improve. Do you guys think I have a good build so far that's good for lifting and getting in shape? I don't think i need to lose weight, but you guys can be the judge. Sorry for terrible pics, it's a webcam haha.

Everyone has to start somewhere. Hit the gym and the dinner table hard.

And for the record, at this stage, you don't need to worry about what to improve. After you gain 50+lbs, then you start looking at what needs bringing up. Until then, you just gain as much mass as you can. You look about how I did when I first started, maybe a tad smaller.

If I could go back to your age I would be eating everything in sight...do that and follow some of the routines posted on here and you will be a big boy

Here-check out my before and after pics:

The first 4 months, I ate everything in sight and gained about 45 pounds. Although, if I could do it over again, I would eat healthier foods to bulk (I ate a lot of cake/cookies/pizza/ice cream...). You got a lot of work ahead of you, but I bet a lot of it will be fun.

EAT!

This needs to be emphasized more than anything else. Get yourself on a proven and tested program and eat every bit of whole food you can find.

There are many people at your stage who neglect this, many on this site alone. These are guys who are getting stronger every week but NEVER putting on a pound of muscle because they are afraid of getting fat. Don't fall in there! Other than that, you have a pretty good frame to build on, get to your squats and deadlifts!
