Hadn't gone for a squat PR in a LONG time. This was a 17lb PR. My old record in belt + wraps was 441 set 2 summers ago at a meet out of a monolift. That was before a glute injury that set me back for some time. I actually did 446 before this attempt and both felt strong. I might be good for 465, and that's with a walkout. Maybe 470 out of a monolift.

Nice work!! You look good for more and a monolift will usually give you much more than 5 lbs!! The walkout is the hardest part, lol.

it looks like it , pause it at 19 sec

Nope. I'd **** myself if Ryan's heels came up while squatting.

great lift!I don't think so either. It might just be the compression. I always make sure to keep my weight back on my heels.

It's a university gym. They recently renovated and expanded it and got all new equipment.

Hey man, great lift. I think you're pointing the elbows back too much, making you go forward out of the hole.

You nailed it Guido. With that bar speed I think you could put up another 10-15lbs more.
