Ok, so during my DE day when I'm benching I sometimes lose my arch, what is the best way to prevent this from happening?

Why does this only happen during DE day? Where on the press do you lose it?

I'd say slow your bar speed down and make sure your form is perfect. Keep speeding up until you're able to pull everything off without form breaks

hold your breath for all 3 reps. 3 reps should only take as long as 1 me rep. stay tight. idk

I tend to lose the arch at the top, when i hit the top my back tends to pop off the bench.
Does this mean im not using enough weight?

It could be. But also work on controlling the weight a little more. When that happens, guys are not letting their elbows lock out completely, instead they stop the weight with their lats and upper back which isn't the best. Release the weight in the sense that you allow your elbows to lock out.

It means you are not controlling the weight. You need to stay tight and control the weight. Speed is important, but so is staying under control and using good form.

Ok so im definitly going to slow down.
Do you guys think i should add weight to aid in this or just try to slow down?

Not to hijack too much. But I dont arch on my work sets ( I think the added range of motion makes you stronger) Instead I only arch when im around
90%+

Is my way of thinking correct?

Work your upper back and lower back harder so you can force your self into a tight arch and hold it. Speed shouldn't throw you out of your arch. Lazy set ups will.
