I finally broke the sound barrier. Someone once told me no one can call you weak if you can squat over 400lbs. Its about damn time!

I'm wearing a rather loose super centurion squat suit (it needs some fitting). My form was a little off but I think I just really need to get use to the suit more. Im not sure if it was past parallel but it was sure damn close. Again I am learning to use the suit. I did come up pretty fast... I was considering doing a triple or something hahaha.

Not long after we decided I should do another single. I do it again no problem and say we should call it quits. He tells me "look how much weight there is on the bar". I check and he actually put another 10lbs on for a solid 415. He did it while I was wrapping my knees hahaha.

BTW the little guy you see behind me spotting has been to the IPF worlds 4 times and has won the nationals 7 times. I am a very very lucky guy to be training with someone who knows so much. He has had a 500+lb deadlift at like 140lb bodyweight back in his prime.

great lift! definitely looks past parallel. whats with that spotter? as if him putting his hands on your obliques would help if you had the dump the weight or lost it

I think it was more of a comfort thing. I have never had over 400lbs on my back and it was my second time ever wearing a suit. It's all mental I feel.

Thanks everyone!

aweomse dude, amazing milestone isn't it?

I remember the first time I hit 405.. it was incredible.. grats!!

once you learn to sit back more and get comfortable with the heavy weight, you're going to really slam the weight.. keep it up bro

Nice work, not long ago I tried 405 for the first time and after not knowing if I'd get it, I banged out 5 reps.

Though I still consider myself weak even though I'm nearing a 500lb squat :(

Nice squat man. How do you like the suit? I am ordering one shortly, when i get some funds together.

It's great. My stance is right in the middle of wide/medium so choosing a suit was a bit difficult. I chose the suit for moderate stance squats and at first I thought it was too narrow but the next time I used it I raised up the legs and it worked out perfectly.

I think ill be purchasing the same one as you. Barry said he would help me out in it, i just need some funds first.

If you get the super centurion from ken I think its cheaper than getting it from louis. Ask for a pair of deadlift socks as well, he threw then in for free lol.

I started exactly 3 years ago. Back then I was as out of shape as you can be. I didn't do any real consistent physical exercise until I was 18 (I am now 21). I started from the lowest of the low in terms of physical ability.

In my opinion you could wallk into the gym today and could do 435 if not more. I can tell you when I did my 405 (a few years back :() it wasn't as easy as that

Me and a couple of friend were thinking about going to the firebird track. but from the looks of that video the track looks kinda crappy. how much did you pay for the day? something like 120, right?
