Have a birthday coming up so my girlfriend might get me a some.

Was thinking of using them in comps as they are meant to be very strong.

Anyone used them yet? Sound very good and I know APT make great wraps.

Thank you very much.

Yes.
Some people say that stiff wraps are like a cast, and its really just a kind exaggeration.

Not this time. Seriously, they are stiff as ****

Great, thank you.

I like to lock the wrists in dead straight, they sound very good.

it takes a few times to break them in to where you can actually wrap them.

the first couple times i tried to use them i had to have a lot of help and they weren't particularly tight, then they broke in and now after i finish the second revolution i can't feel my fingers.

Yeah, they are beyond stiff. I have a problem with handcuffing the weight, so I got a pair, they make me want to cry

Sounds pretty damn cool actually. I remember going from some generic sports store wraps to some Inzer Z wraps and going 'holy crap', sounds like fun to go through that again!

Iv'e tried the 3X knee wraps and HOLY SH&#! They were tight and stiff as hell. I couldn't even bend my knees with less than 405 on the bar. I can't imagine how they be for wrist wraps.

no but i just got my 2x wraps and DAMN! if the 3x are harder wraps than this that's INSANE! The 2x is a class above any wrap I've ever used and infact would wager anyone going from any other wrap to the 2x-3x wrap to get atleast another rep or two out of their pressing work due to the insane amount of additional support and stability. I'd compare it to going from single play to multiply gear.

These wraps sure sound good-will they take my bench from 500 to 600? Just kidding, I am looking forward to using them!

I think I'll get some 36" strangulators for training in, I have other good ones from APT but my mates use them alot so a spare set won't hurt.

Thanks everyone for your help!

I used one of my football players wraps today, because I forgot mine, they were the cheap APT Phantom(I think )wraps they felt like crap going on and real thin, but I got to say the weight felt good in them, better than my inzers.

Eric do you think the 3x would be too much or would they still be good to use in comps?, I bench 500 and go up to 600 on high boards at the moment but gaining strength pretty fast.

Thanks.

Just got my 2X APT 36" wraps.

These are badass for sure, pretty comfortable considering how tight and supportive they are.

They are much like the hybrid blue lines but thicker.

Very pleased with them!

The only problem I got with the wrist wraps(2XH). The strap where you put thumb through, it easily gets ripped off. I had to sew it back on with stiffer thread. So far it hasn't ripped off yet.

Nick,

I use the APT 36" maroon convict's, and they are bada**... The 3XH are supposed to be 50% heavier than the convict material.

The support must be awesome! Let use know how it goes w/ the 2XH.

I have some convicts but I find the blue lines and even the 2X are a less course material.

I am happy with the 2X over the 3X, very strong but comfortable some what I think the 3X would be a little too much for me and the 2X are more than enough anyway-plus cheaper.

I would get some when you are after a new pair you will not be dissapointed.

Yeah she took a while lol but at least I got what I wanted.

From APT's site the shipping they charge is fair compared to some sites.

I was looking on their site the other day for gear. Do you know how much they charged for postage Nick? I emailed them for a rough postage estimate but no reply yet. Gotta buy while the dollar is high!

Glad to hear the wraps are good :)

I think we paid $115 AU for 1 pair 2X 36" and 2 pairs blue line 24" including delivery.

Not sure about the shipping but it's a little less than some places charge.

Like you I like to buy when our dollar is high-got new bench shirt on the way YAY!

Let me know if you get anything bro.

Ah yeah that sounds reasonable. I only want small stuff, but then I was thinking of ordering #1-5 resistance bands as my gym doesn't have them and I don't know where to buy them in Australia.

I'll think I'll order some gear within the next few weeks.

Thanks, Mick
