i watched a video that was posted on the site about bench form. and i was just wondering do i work out with that technique? or is it maxing alone that i need to do that with?

Change your form for the better, and bench like that all the time.

Yes. Technique and form take years and years to master. Treat all your warmups, work sets, and max attempts the same.
