White bread is high gycemic .... this means it will raise you blood sugar levels very quick, in turn casuing the dreaded insulin spike. It's also load with salt. Wholewheat is better, still there are better sources of carbs.

If you're bulking, I wouldn't worry about it much. I generally increase my intake of high GI carbs a little when bulking. Try to eat wheat and oat products more, but white bread every now and then won't hurt.

And if you're bulking, leanness probably shouldn't be high on your list of priorities.

A piece of 2 post-workout even while cutting wouldn't be bad would it?

If you're bulking, go for it!

seriously it might be better just to leave it out, just because you're bulking doesn't mean you shouldn' t try to cut fat out of your diet.

Nejar, white bread has very little fat. It also is a concentrated source of carbohydrate, which (despite the insulin spike) can be useful for bulking. The best time to have it would be post-workout, imo.
