Saturdays I workout out mid morning, say 9:30 AM or so. I get up around 6:30 AM.

I've got a thing of leftover spaghetti that I was thinking about eating for breakfast tomorrow (usually I save it for lunch on my evening workout days), but I'm not sure if my body would take it in for energy fast enough by then.

Any thoughts on this and/or carbs for fuel in general?

How long before your workout are you planning on eating it?

Really that's my question... it would be about two hours.

I'm thinking of just going with my normal breakfast which is higher protein instead.

You would workout two hours after breakfast? If so Eat carbs/protein for breakfast. Oats, fat free milk, honey/and or Splenda, protein powder.
