One meal a week isnt a big deal. 2300 calories a day seems very low, it sounds like your metabolism has crashed fmor the cut. Id recommend a carb cycle to finish the cut. Here's how to figure uot some numbers

This is where your weekly average is:
2300 x 7 (days a week) = X

This is a possibility: (imaginary example #s)
(1900 x4days) + (2700 x 3days) = X

Above is 3 WO days @ 2700 cals and 4 off days @ 1900 cals. If you play with those numbers enough you can get the weekly average of equation 1 to = the weekly average of equation 2.

2300cals x 7days (your current diet) = (Xcals x 4 days) + (Ycals x 3 days)

There ya go, a metabolism boost while on a cut

Yes a weekend of splurging can ruin a week or more of effort. Figure if you are 500 under maintence M-F that is 2500 calories, but if you overeat 3000+ calories over maintence on the weekend your going to pack on weight.

what he said. daily deficit of calories means nothing if your weekly total isn't a deficit.

You need ONE cheat meal, not TWO full cheat days.

don't feel too bad, I adhere to my routine easily during the week. then the weekend comes and I end up not eating until 11am, and then having a late 'fast food' lunch somewhere...

I too am stepping it back up though.
