I hit a new personal best today on my deadlift. The last time I tried my max I was 273lbs and I lifted 495. Today at 241 I hit 510.

New PR's while losing body weight is awesome, great job.

You could have had that 520 if you put your butt down and focused on pulling back more than pulling up. It may feel weird at first, but technique tweaks for the better will always pay off in the long run.

Looked legal too, from the front. Congratulations A. How much rest time were you taking between sets?

lonesX- Thanks! Every time I try to dip my butt lower it kinda throughs me off. I think if I would have went 510 then 520 I may have gotten it. I (THINK) it was more mental than a strengt issue but I could be wrong. At least I hit 510.

Tom- I was going for 500 but it felt good so I went for a little more. Thanks.

Beverly- I was taking about 3-4mins in between sets.

Not much time at all!
The PL's in our gym would break out in a cold sweat if they thought they had to go back to the bar in under 10, lol!

You looked good with it. What number are you going for next?
