I need some quality protein powder that is under 40 bucks. Ive been using GNC Pro performance Wheybolic extream for 7 months with good gains, but I cant afford a tub of powder for 60 bucks anymore. For the last month Ive been buying walmart body fortress protein for the last month becuase its dirt cheap, but Im not sure its the best (is it?)

I found one at bodybuilding.com and was wondering if that was worth getting, but if not could you point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance. (I cant afford At large nutrition at the moment)

For the money, its great. Middle of the road brand name, tastes decent, mixes well, and the label reads pretty good too.

If you get a gold membership at GNC you can get a tub of ON whey for around $40.00. It's like 73 servings too.

If money is tight I would just recommend buying chicken breast and pork tenderloin. I wait til its on sale (usually 1.99/lb, and when its not 2.69/lb) and buy 20-30 lbs and freeze it then I cook it up for meals. Its tough to get 60-80g of protein in one sitting having to eat 3-4 chicken breast versus 3-4 scoops of powder but it is much cheaper and you can just change your eating habits to accommodate.

I dont eat meat :( Thats why I NEED a good protein source. The veggie meat I eat has alot of protein in it, but its soy protein.
