View Full Version : Cutting fat on back

Anyone have any good advice on cutting a little bit of fat on my back? I am not sure of my overall bf, but it is relatively low.

My thought is that a little more cardio will probably do the trick, but I wanted to her what everyone else thought. Thanks guys.

i am pretty new here, but the topic was already discussed multiple time. The summary: spot fat reduction does not exist.

I realize that there is no such thing as spot reduction. I was merely pondering what the best solution would be to drop a little bit of body fat. I only mean that the fat on my back was the reason I wanted to shed some fat.

what budiak said...but that still doesnt mean that the fat you burn will come from your back.

What are your stats right now? (height, weight, etc)

Are you sure that you want to lose fat right now and would rather not get more muscle first? Muscle is metabolically active tissue that would help you get rid of the fat, or at least change your apperance.

Is your body fat low now? The reason I ask is every body has a little fat on their lower back and I know for myself it is the absolute last fat to go. It's your body's protection for your kidneys.

Are you using a script to answer questions? You're almost as bad as Powerman with his crowbar.

Let progress speak, lest you be fed to the ravenous undead hordes.

Of which there are many.

I am 6'2" 180 with probably ~15% bf. I am just looking to tighten up a little.
