my goal is to lose fat without losing muscle. Based on the net, interval training is better for cardio.
Is it ok if i use interval training using jump rope? I go 30sec low intensity followed by 30sec low intensity then 30sec rest..How do u think about this routine? Im doing it for 10mins. 3x per wk

Oops. Typo error.
30sec low intensity, 30sec high intensity then 30sec rest.

How much weight are you trying to lose?
That would probably work, although I would probably choose something like running, bleacher sprints, sandbag carries etc.
Jump rope is alright, but there are more effective choices out there.

Newer research proved the protocol to more efficient at 22seconds on 22 off, not a huge gap in the groups in the study but that was the group that burned the most calories. It was an Australian study, and I'm fuzzy on it - without references, so take it with a grain of salt.
How does everything else look with your weightloss/fatloss plan? How is your diet? How is your lbm/bw? What are your/Do you do any other activities/sports?
Travis is correct thought, I'd rather alternate 20 second sprints/jogs for rounds than skipping.
