This was my last heavy squats before I went away to school. I had 525 in my head as the number, and thought it would be hard. Everything was really easy tonight, I just wasn't used to the pressure and the weight on my back.

What do you guys think I can do to improve my squats even more? I made a conscious effort to push my knees out the whole time, and keep my upper back tight (with some encouragement). What else do you guys see that could help me?

Anyways, this was my first time over 500, in a single ply v-type @ 212lbs so i'm really happy. It was a 60lb PR haha

You made the 515 look easy as s***. Form was a little rough on the 535, but hell, you still hit depth and squatted that b**** right back up!!!! Congrats on the PR!!!

Really great squatting. Do you find training heavy in the mono kills your ability to walk heavy weights out?

Thanks Travis. I know a few bouncers down at school who train at the same gym, but hopefully i'll find some powerlifters. I think there is an IPF crew somwehere down there. I go to Brock University.

You know it man, training partners make all the difference in the world. Luckily I found a great group of guys

Not really. I love squatting from a monolift, but all my training (except for last night) has been walked out.
