I was 260+ in these 2 pics back in the winter.... probably around January

My training is never consistant though and I feel I should have made way better progress in that time frame. I did a lot of cardio, but hardly lifted. Kept an okay diet.

So that's what I did in 9 months. I'm hoping to get down to 200 in the next 2-3 months, then down to 180 hopefully by next spring. After that, I hope I'm lean enough to bulk up.

I can't stand how nasty I look in the first two pics. Very poor hygene there. In my last pics I'm all clean!

I know if I had of kept a consitant lifting schedule I would have done 2x better. I usually never flake on cardio because I have a machine at home but I find myself making excuses not to go to the gym.

Wow I've actually seen you post here quite some time ago. It looks like you're finally putting this together. Nice job man.

What have you done diet-wise?

You've done great so far, what a huge improvement.

But don't wait to slim down before you bulk up. Hitting the weights hard is only going to speed up your progress, and I'd guess it'll make you happy with your body sooner once things start firming up.

BIG progres mate! Keep at it.

If you keep finding excuses to go to the gym.... maybe take your gym bag and clothes to work and go straight to the gym when you finish work.
I live 20 minutes from my work and gym so thats my only option. I found if I came home and sat down, I wouldn't want to get back up.

Also I read once, the more muscle mass you have the easier it is to burn fat? Can't remember where I read it. And try to do cardio after your weight session :)

Muscle burns more calories than fat does, so muscle would help burn calories a bit (which in turn would burn fat when everythings done properly), but I'm not sure exactly HOW much. Does anyone happen to know some of these numbers?
