Derek Brixius
Clint Poore
Tim Anderson

Bench pressing in the low 500's could yield last place!:omg: The winner represent the USA at the IPF World Bench Press Champion and a good chance to compete at the 2009 Arnold Classic. I'm looking forward to the fellowship & competition! I will be taking a lot of pictures and will post them, etc next Tuesday.

NASA doesn't hold meets in CA. Traveling will help stimulate the economy:)

Best of luck JT! You deserve it

Competing against the returning champion and former ipf bench press champion/record holder(Tim Anderson) brings the best out of you. The open class is stack with great competitors and should be a lot fun.

Thanks a lot!

Good Luck. What is your game plan?
I am excited to see the 198 class. That will be a serious battle for 1,2,3.

Good Luck. What is your game plan?
I am excited to see the 198 class. That will be a serious battle for 1,2,3. The 198 class is stack. Nine competitors in the open division and 9 in the masters/raw division. Should be an interesting battle for 198 bench press title.

My game plan is to improve on my lifts from last year bench press nationals, break some records, increase my ranking and walk away with another bench press gold award or two. Tim Anderson is the favorite to win because he is the returning champion and has bench press 644. Should be a great battle for the top spot.

Thanks a lot!

It was a geared & raw event. I won my weight of 181 for this meet raw! :)

If you see a RO in the Division it denotes Raw...Otherwise there are equiped.

The event primarily is an equipped meet battle, as it is for the national rankings & world team qualifings...

JT....awesome raw lift......

However, why do a raw opener when your an equipped guy other than just for a record? Why not save that raw attempt for a local meet.

I noticed Cierri did the same for 198...opened at 501(think) raw & then did next 2 attempts equiped. However, it seems this decision may have cost him first & the world team. Opening raw has to gas you alot more than opening in a shirt. I saw Cierri lift & just miss his last attempt to place first.
