I've been wanting to post pics of our home setup for awhile and with the newly acquired dumbbells I figure now's the time. I'm very lucky I have a dad with money that wants to workout at home too. It's a little crowded, but gets the job done. We plan on building a pull barn soon for the gym. So far we have 900lbs plate weights, 2,050lbs dumbbells from pair of 80's to 125's. 4 Olympic bars, a power rack, bench and custom t-bar row contraption. Plus a bunch of other misc stuff not pictured (custom adjustable squat box, chains etc).

that is an impressive set of DBs for a home gym!

That bench sucks, sell it and get an incline/decline and a fixed flat bench - then do all your benching in the rack. Its just too narrow.

Just out of curiosity is that just personal preference or is there any benefit to a wider bench? That bench does incline/decline as well. I have been thinking about getting one to fit in the rack though.

Just curious.

They're really nice. Come in handy. Drove all the way to GA from SW FL just to get them

That is an awesome setup you have. I would love to get a setup like that in the future. I bet its nice not having to deal with people at a commercial gym.

My bench is similar to that. But I bent the bar and had to replace it with wooden supports under it. I'm too cheap to buy a new one. Hey it works though. I've had over 600lbs on it. But they are right, the way it is it will flex. Mine started bending with my 400 lb sets on bench.

It looks good, it also makes me want to build one in my garage.

I'll agree to getting an FID Bench. Doing your work inside the cage is safer #1 and allows you to start using bands. Style and width is a personel preference. Padding or hard form?? You don't want your scapulas getting caught on the corners. Otherwise nice setup. I have the same cardio equipment in my garage. lol

Those dumbells will be great for curling in that squat rack you have. (joke)

In seriousness though I love the set-up, makes me miss having mine.

Thanks for the comments guys. Getting a new bench and hyperextension machine soon.

We are already clearing the ground for the pull-barn. It's going to be badass. Lol we can start a neighborhood commercial gym.

I agree 1000%, plus you have a ton more safety inside the rack. I just got one (power cage) and LOVE it! I only use a standard bench now.

BTW, nice gym setup... and to be a garage.. its very clean.
