Ok i have two questions really. First my roommate is on Hydroxcut harcore x and he doesnt seem to think it is working. He is already a slim guy but he wants to rip up. Is there any suggestions to anything he should do to increase his results? or anything he should try supplement wise after he finishes his hydroxycut?

As for me im currently on Methyl 1-D XL. Im just finishing my first week and have already gained 7 lbs. Im stacking it with NO xplode followed by protein of course (Iso mass extreme gainer) i was just gonna see if there is anything else i should be taking to gain mass with this or if i should change what im already taking.

If your buddy doesnt have a proper diet then no fatburner will work. Supplements supplement a proper diet.

I have no idea what methyl is so ill leave that one for others.

Help with getting ripped?

Eat, lift, eat (repeat for a year), then diet, lift, diet. Youre not going to get ripped from supps. Get your diet and lifting in check, and supplement accordingly.

Oh, LuNa, that methyl is a prohormone.

Methyl 1-D XL is a prohormone that is harsh on the liver I believe. You better have a PCT set up and a SERM or else you wont be in a good situation.

Ouch, you want to do some more research for sure buddy. Supplements are for supplementing. A pro hormone is probably not a good idea for the level you are at, or ever.

If your friend is relying on an OTC supplement to get him "ripped up" then that is probably the first thing that needs to be addressed. Will some stimulant products give you a metabolic boost? Yes, but they do not make up for a poor diet or training program. Despite what you may see in the advertisements, these kind of products will not provide you with a 'body transformation'. If he is serious about getting in shape I can help put together a comprehensive program for him; just let me know. (He would have to be committed to intense training at least 3 days per week and dieting for 6 days per week)

As for your Methly 1-D; I can't say that I am a fan of prohormones - especially for younger individuals which it sounds like you may be.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but that 7 lbs that you gained is most likely 5-7 lbs of "bloat" or water weight. The water retention is from the rapid hormonal changes and the synthetic testosterone/percusors being aromatized into estrogen. Keep an eye on your blood pressure if you are gaining weight that rapidly as it could go through the roof; and it is also a good idea to take something like Tylers Liver Detox to attempt to keep from causing too much damage to your liver. Drinking at least 1 gallon of water per day is recommended and I would keep your diet clean and balanced. NO-Explode is find if you need energy but if you are relying on that for your creatine source then there are some much better options out there; the same goes for your PWO shake (you would be better off with a balanced MRP shake that has higher quality protein sources).

Regardless it sounds like you are pleased with the gains and that is what matters. Do make sure that you have a thorough PCT in place for when you decide to stop taking the Methyl; and I would also read up on some of the potential side effects so that you can be prepared. This is not meant to scare you, simply to make sure that you are utilizing supplements in the best way possible.

If you are interested in putting together a great long term stack for after the quick prohormone blast I would be happy to write up a customized plan including diet, training, and supplements.

Let me know about your friend and for now I would say just use the products that you have since they have already been purchased and then we can look at upgrading once you get through those.
