Ok i'm 19 years old (20 next mont) i'm 5,6" so quite a short guy. I've been doing SS for about 3 days now,was doing it before I went on holiday for a week but stopped and only just started again. I also go jogging and I was boxing for a while but stopped and I am looking to go back thats partly why i'm body building also. I've been hitting the heavy bag at home and things like that still though.

The only thing is I haven't got a bench so this is what i've been doing:
(I've started on 20-30Kg depending on exercise I know thats not exactly high but I find its working me quite well so far).

(Sets x Reps)

Routine A
Squat 3x5 (20kg)
Deadlift 1x5 (30kg)
Barbell curls 3x5 (20kg)

Routine B
Squat 3x5 (20kg)
Standing Barbell Overhead Press 3x5 (25kg)
Powerclean 5x3 (30kg)

Week 1:
Monday: Workout A
Tuesday: Off
Wednesday: Workout B
Thursday: Off
Friday: Workout A
Saturday: Off
Sunday: Off

Week 2:
Monday: Workout B
Tuesday: Off
Wednesday: Workout A
Thursday: Off
Friday: Workout B
Saturday: Off
Sunday: Off

Here are a couple pics of me so far (very ashamed of this but its the start of my journey and we've all been there).

Pics aint great either sorry people...

You could substitute Bar Dips for the Bench Press. It's quite possibly a better exercise anyways and definately more productive than curls. Just find two stout chairs to dip between for now.

I will deff look into doing the dips. Are those weights i'm going with atm too light?

Who cares how light they are now...concentrate on how heavy they'll be in a few months.

I started off using light weights with SS and have being doing it for just over a month. No worries, the weight will catch up real quick.

Enjoy SS as long as you can, it is an excellent routine and you will see great gains with it. Make sure you are eating alot and getting alot of rest.
