Here is an article specifically written for mma fighters but it can be applied to any athlete. Thought it was worth sharing

I like Shelby's stuff and have been thinking about using him to lean out a bit more during my soccer season without sacrificing all the muscle/strength I've worked so hard to achieve. He seems to get excellent results with his clients.

He does get great results with his clients. Ive been reading as much of his stuff as i can recently.

See this high carbohydrate thing is very odd to me. I feel like I ate a ton of carbohydrates when I approach 250. Yet, a lot of people are proposing eating 400-500 on certain days.

I'm the same way, my hi-carb days are usually 250-300, my mids are like 150, and my lows I try to keep well under 100.
I think in Lyle M's Ultimate Diet the high carb days are super high though, like 5-600.
