Here is an article specifically written for mma fighters but it can be applied to any athlete. Thought it was worth sharing

I like Shelby's stuff and have been thinking about using him to lean out a bit more during my soccer season without sacrificing all the muscle/strength I've worked so hard to achieve. He seems to get excellent results with his clients.

See this high carbohydrate thing is very odd to me. I feel like I ate a ton of carbohydrates when I approach 250. Yet, a lot of people are proposing eating 400-500 on certain days.

I'm the same way, my hi-carb days are usually 250-300, my mids are like 150, and my lows I try to keep well under 100.

I think in Lyle M's Ultimate Diet the high carb days are super high though, like 5-600.
