Hey Everyone, I am trying to work out in the mornings before work. Any suggestions on Quick yet effective pre workout meals? I don't have time to have a big elaborate breakfast.

-Scrambled eggs/egg whites and a bowl of oatmeal
-Oatmeal w/ a scoop of vanilla protein powder
-Protein shake
-Peanut butter on bagel or toast
-Pankcakes or waffles with a scoop of vanilla protein in the mix( I also add vanilla and cinnamon)

You can mix up your eggs or pancake mix the night before and put em in a container.None of these take more than 10-15 minutes.

I workout in the morning before work too, I won't eat before hand.
IMO its better to just have a good shake, mines ~40protein & ~50 grams dextrose.

nutrition gets to you waaay quicker for better performance.

The Gym is only about a 5 minute drive away. As it is in the morning I don't want to be getting up early just to eat and then sit around for an hour and let my food digest. How long does it take do digest a bowl of oatmeal or a bagel???
I think a shake will be my best option I was just worried that it wouldn't give me energy for a long enough time to complete my workout as a big bowl of oatmeal.

I wake up 7:30-8 and eat right away then start working out around 9:30. I usslay have

5 egg white
toast
1-2 servings of cearal
milk
apple or banana
1 cup powerade + Creatine+L-Arginine+Caffeine


Then right after I work out I have
2scoops protein+Creatine+LAgrinine+1/2cup ground up oatmeal
1 cup powerade
a plain thomas Bagel
