Who knows the top All-Time Raw over 50 PL #s? I've checked all of the feds I know that keep Raw records and these are what I've found:

Squat: 600 Lbs.

Bench: 413 Lbs. Full Meet BP

Deadlift: 628 Lbs. (I thought I'd find it higher)

Total: 1575 Lbs.

If anyone knows of higher #s out there please let me know.

I thought I remebered Odd Haugen (Worlds Strongest Man fame) doing a raw meet a few years few years ago and having an over 600 squat and over 1600 total, but I can't find record of it. I'm considering doing the Raw/Classic division at the Georgia Open. If the #s above are right I have a good chance at topping the Squat, Bench and Total. I plan to open at 600 - 369 - 529 and take pretty good jumps from there. Those openers 'should' all be pretty safe.

If I can't touch 650-700ish to 1/2 board or the chest Monday in the new shirt I'll plan on lifting Raw. If I am pretty confident in touching in it I'll do the equipped full meet. If I do that I'll plan to open at 810 - 650/699ish - 551 (my DL sux!) Thanks for any input.

I saw Odd Haugen do a 720 deadlift a couple years ago at WABDL World's. I'm pretty sure if it's raw. If not, I'm sure he's still good for close to 700.

I love seeing this. Some guy on T-Nation was posting that you need a 2x BW Bench, 2.5x BW Squat, and a 3x BW DL raw to be considered strong. Anything less and you didn't need to work on weakpoints.

Yeah Guido! Odd is one 'BAD' old man!...I can say old man because I'm old too! LOL! I don't even think about anyone's DL records! Mine is just good enough to finish up my total without being 'too' embarrassing. The best I've done in a meet is 600 raw and 622 in a suit.

That guy's full of BS! My training partner was the #3 275 open raw lifter in the U.S. in 2008 and even his #s don't hit those percentages...nor do mine. I think most consider either of us more than just 'strong'.

Here a link on Odd's PL'ing at the USAPL a few years ago - where he hit the 660:

but I think it was equiped:

Great squat but that's an equipped meet. He's in a single ply Inzer Hardcore suit. Maybe that's the meet I remember and not a raw one. Great #s!

Even Scott Mendelson's all time highest raw bench was only about 2X bodyweight. I'd say those numbers only apply to the lower weight classes XD
