You will get more out of your knee wraps if you start them just below your knee cap and have them come up your thighs a bit more.

Nice PR, looked easy.

Nice lifting Brian. Please tell me that next meet you will open with something a little closer to 500. By Feb. you have a good shot at breaking 500 for the first time in a meet and then following it up with 600.

600, of course!

Thanks Mike. Oh, I'm not going to do that again. I had no real reason for doubting my squats at the last meet. I shouldn't have let that enter my mind. At the next meet I'll definitely open over 500. 500 last night felt like nothing. I think squatting from a monolift, I'd be over 600 right now.

Yeah, lots of them.

Here's my 402 pound bench press at the AAPF/APF meet on Sept 27, 2009

Good lifts Ox! Man, you've got to push the weight forever at 6'8"! I don't think all 3 of my lifts together travel as far as your squat or bench. Strong stuff!

Awesome lift man. Maybe it's just the angle, but it looks like you really need to be forcing your knees out more. Do you have bad shoulders? It doesn't seem like you have your upper back very tight (possibly from the wide grip). Not bashing, just wondering. You are quite a bit stronger than me, so understand that I am no way knocking your impressive lift.

How tight are those knee wraps? There is no way in hell I'd just stand there talking with my wraps on after a lift... lol

Lately my shoulders are healthy, but I've got a 7 foot wingspan and thus the wide grip.

No they aren't tight, I didn't really want them to be. I was focusing on getting used to the suit in that video.

Thanks.

I try not to think about my range of motion anymore. All I think about now is just getting stronger. I bet I squat 700 pounds within a year.
