I figured I would finally start posting around here, and what better way than to start a log to keep track of my training.
First, some background:
I'm 23 - been powerlifting for about 18 months. Working out consistently(and intelligently) for about 2.5 years, and doing the typical bench/curl crap before that since highschool. Ive competed at 82.5kg, currently making the jump to 90kg, as Ive had to cut weight for each contest.

Training:
Currently jumping on the 5/3/1 train. I based the workout on the following maxes(actual maxes):
Bench: 300 (315)
Squat (belt): 445 (455)
Military: 185
Deadlift (raw/conv): 450 - havent maxed conventional in a long time. Ive pulled 540+ sumo.

Training so far, only the final sets:
Wave 1
Bench: 225 x 9 (I messed up the numbers, so I had to guess as to the weight, which ended up being too light)
Dead: 385 x 7
Military: 155 x 6
Squat: 385 x 5

Wave 2
Bench: 260 x 6
Dead: 405 x 5
Military: 165 x 4
Squat: 385 x 5

Wave 3
Bench: 275 x 4

Solid lifting man! Are you a classical scholar?

I assume you are referring to my name/possibly the name of my log. No I am not a classical scholar. That is actually my name, and I figured I should include a solid quote from my namesake :strong:

Nice! Well, Plato is the shiznit for sure. I ask because my undergrad was in philosophy and english and I studied a ton of Plato. Now, Im a grad student studying Critical Theory/Continental Philosophy focusing on classical rhetoric and shakespeare (as follows the name of my journal), so, Plato is often on my mind.

Best of luck in you lifting man!

Today's training:
Wave 3 DL - 435 x 3
Supposed to be ~425, but 435 was easier to load, so went with that.
