Squat:1005
Bench:625
Deadlift:670
TOTAL:2300

For as bad as I was feeling, it turned out to be an awesome day. My deadlift sacrificed the most, but I was able to pull what I needed to get the total I wanted. Now, i'll take this week off and then return back to the gym next week to get ready for my next journey!!!

Thanks alot guys, it was a really fun meet with alot of top lifters. Not to mention, it was also a pleasure to see Kieran Kidder back on the platform. I'm not sure what his total was but he did place 2nd in the SHW.

Yeah, I kinda punked out on my last deadlift. But my coach did a GREAT job calling a number on my 2nd attempt to get me my 2300 total!!!

Great work Brian. 2300 is a great total, and going over 1000 on squat is amazing, at 242 not many guys have done that. Nice meet!

Yes it is, I almost got it at the APF Senior Nationals but we were looking at getting in the top 3 in my class.

hey just saw ur vids on pl watch...awesome lifting....In regards to the dl suit imo the only other suit on the market that is comparable is the fusion....but your problem may not be the suit...look at the legs on the suit......pull them all the way up into your crotch....most of the really good deadlifters do this with their suits....panora(metal pro) swanke(fusion) carrol(fusion) I do it to and tell everyone I train with to do the same...i got an ok pull.....just crank the straps tight......when you do that with the legs it helps at the top mostly....Im sure you feel all bunched up at the top of the lift? it helps with that to wear its easier to push your hips through the top...most likely you wont believe me so get ahold of these ppl and talk with them

Well, the only reason why I wear it like that is because METAL recommends that the suit works best with the suit having about an inch gap from the crotch and to not pull it all the way up. But, heck I will give it a shot next time I put it on, and see how it feels. I'm still sorta interested in getting a new DL suit, it will either be a Titan Velocity or an Inzer Fusion. Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it. I will try it next time I put it on.

Yeah, but I didnt pull 677 at this meet. That was at the Senior Nationals. I did attempt 685, but just ran out of gas. Those are just my best lifts over all at 242.
