How often do you guys use bands on the bench? Do you use them on both ME day & DE day or just speed day? I've had great result w/ bands but I guess too much of a good thing can be bad.

IDK, but lately I've been doin' em' twice a week and my shoulders are a little more beat up than usual. (using more ice lately) I think Vinnie said using bands too often can be tough on your joints...

If I'm doing speed I always use bands (minis or m/minis) sometimes chains but not often.

For max bench I use them around half the time sometimes less like 3 out of 10.

I do love bands and have found they help my bench alot but sometimes I go 5 weeks straight weight working down the boards, then when I do some band benching I get more out of them.

I use bands on DE days. Chains actually bug my elbows for whatever reason. If I use bands on ME day, it's with boards so there's a lot less shoulder strain. I'm doing it to focus on building lockout power.

I personally cant handle band work 2 weeks in a row straight. beats my elbows up. But some guys never do straight weight and are fine. if your beat up and wan to accomodate your resistence. try alternating from bands on the bottom to reverse bands.

Thanks for your input guys... I'm gonna alternate monster mini's on speed day w/ reverse average- green bands on ME day.
