bench high rep db press, camber bar bench(if shoulders can handler extra rom), paused benches and over head pressing. for deadlift deficit pulling(standing on a cpl matts), and just pulling off the ground.

I like to do speed work to work the start of my pull. Nothing major just 5 singles or so every other week with 50%

Do you ever use any bands for speed work?

dj,

two words... Bands & chains. Works for both DL and BP.

Google west side barbell for info ref. to how to apply them to your training... As far as equipment, if your gym dosent have them, I get bands from HOP (house of pain) Chains from Home Depot are pretty reasonable...

Speed pulls, leg press, heavy ab work and standard good-mornings.

Plus being aggressive with the pull.

I agree with banded speed bench. I'm NOT a deadlifter, but have heard some very good deadlifters say that for power off the floor, do rack squats just above navel high.

Deficit deads off a mat or a 45 or 2 for getting off the floor strength. Benching has bever been my strong suit so I will defer to the other, more experienced benchers on the boards here.
