In the above chart, under Mens 220lbs class, what does the 20-24 category mean? Is it for age (20-24 years of age)? And if so, why doesn't every weight class have the same ages? Thanks in advance for the help!

Yes 20-24 is the age div. The reason all the classes don't have it is no lifters have lifted in that cat. Once you lift you will get the record.

Another question for you guys, if I was looking to break a current NY State record. Would I only be able to do that by competing at a meet held in NY or could I compete in Virginia but have it count in NY? Thanks!

I've never heard of an instance where that's the case. If you want to break a NY record, lift in NY.

That's what I thought. Thanks!

It depends on the federation. Ask your feds chairman to make sure. Some feds, WABDL for example, allow you to only break your state of residence records, no matter what state you lift in.

Yessir, it means age. It probably is not listed because no one set that record yet, so it was left-out until it has been set.
