View Full Version : Why does my lower back so sore during my training?

Any time I train my lower body, my lower back feels like its getting the bulk of the work. I have had problems in the past but now it seems to be stronger than ever. It just gets worn out too quickly it seems. For instance, by the time I get through with my box squats, it is on fire. It bugs me for the rest of my training but I'm not sure whether it is effecting my strength. And after my training (the next day or two), it doesnt really get sore. My other muscle get sore and my lower back doesnt. Im just wondering what is up with it.

You might just be out shape? I use to get ******ed back pumps when I was brushing my teeth lol. Since Then I have added 2-3 30 minute walks per week and it has taken the low back pain almost completely away.

Are you hitting your abs 2-3 times per week with 3-4 movements for 3-4 sets each? That will also help a good bit.
