So after reading this post about how to bulk properly LINK (http://www.wannabebig.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2104193&postcount=11)

I was wondering if there are any summarized tips for cutting besides the calorie deficit. You know, like tips about which food helps the cravings or gives enough protein and the like.

I searched already, only found specific cases.

Thanks in advance!

Theres specific cases because there are many things that work. For instance, when I cut down, I:

1. Only had whole wheat carbs and cut them out after 4pm
2. Did HIIT and stairs.
3. Lifted heavy in the 3-5 rep range.
4. After 4pm, I consumed mainly green beans and chicken breasts.

I didnt count kcals at all. I mean, green beans take more energy to digest, and chicken has almost just protein. So whats the point?

(You do need to watch fats though for regular hormone balances)

Count calories for one. As soon as you do your food choices drastically change. I used to eat a bowl of cashew nuts for a snack until I realised I was eating about 750 calories with nearly 50grams of fat lol. Fitday.com is a brilliant tool.

Always be a bit hungry. If you're not, you're probably eating too much!
