A few months ago I tried this and couldn't budge it without my lats feeling like they were going to tear. I decided to try again tonight after my normal routine, despite my back being tweaked from benching last night, lower left back totally cramped up on my last set.

Anyway, I tried it and it was pretty damn easy. If I was 100% and didn't do a normal workout before I could probably rep it a few times.

Oh, and sorry for the quality, I totally forgot to set my damn camera to record at 640x480 and left it on 160x120 or something :(

385x3
430x3
500x1

So it wasn't optimal for a max, but I just wanted to get 500 once finally. I knew I've had it in me all this time, just wanted proof :)

Yeah that pisses me off. When I do normal sets they pull my damn shorts down too, by the time I get done my ass (not bare, just boxers :D ) is hanging out.

And I really need more plates, this is what I had to put on for 500:

It would be so much easier to have five 45s on each side and two 2.5s :(

haha... yeh I sometime roll my shorts up if they'll stay. One time I even put tape on them to hold em up. Really ****s with my concentration when the bar messes with em

I know what you mean about the plates, I currently only have 300 worth of plates, but 2 45's should be making their way to the set on Friday... a friend of mine owes me "gym Membership" as he works out at my house. I happen to have a 20% off coupon for the used sporting goods store. So he gets to buy 2 plates with it. then hopefully 2 more plates will make their way in around Christmas, when the cards start rolling in with some cash.

Very nice lift mate. First time I tried 500lbs was after 5x5 at a weight I can't remember and barely got it off the ground. Week after, relatively fresh I repped 500lbs for 3 :)

Haha, I've actually thought about doing it again with the camera set properly. I'll probably shoot for 520 next, I'll make sure it's set correctly for that one :D

Honestly, my squat has been a bit iffy lately. I doubt I lost any strength but I don't feel like I gained a lot either, I guess I'll have to try and find out. I should be pretty close though.
