I remember Vinnie did this thread last year, and I think he won it.

How many pounds can you gain on Thanksgiving? This will give us something to do in between football games. Pictures of the scale are not required, but would be cool. Take your weight the morning of, then before you go to sleep. Whoever gains the most, wins.

I think the top participants last year were sitting somewhere around 7 pounds gained...I'm trying to fill out my weight class, so this comes at the perfect time for me.

Be thankful for everything in your life, including being able to do this! Good luck!

298 lbs. Damn, I have been slipping on my diet and taking creatine. I'm up 7 lbs. in the last two weeks. I'm going to enjoy this holiday weekend and then tighten things back up. I'm scared to think what I'll weigh at the end of the day.

On any normal day, my weight fluctuates 5 to 7 pounds between waking in the AM to sleep in the PM. That is just normal every day eating.

Big guy, it's an honor thing. People can hold weights or other crap if they want to cheat on a scale. Plus, I don't want to see your toes unless they are poking out from under my sheets.

I just polished off my second plate, plus breakfast, plus a protein shake. No bowel movements yet. I remember last year those were detrimental to my weight

Canadian so I'm at work. However by chance I did weigh in today. 240 on the dot I'll probably eat a ton throughout the day anyway so I'll join in.

I weighed 324 this morning ( I took a video of it ). I starved myself yesterday just for this, LOL, and dropped about 8 pounds. I've got plenty of room for this afternoon.

Ha Ha Ha, maybe I should video myself eating the whole turkey. Is eating the entire turkey cheating too? LOL. ( I eat 1.5 whole chickens every Monday night, so I bet I could do it. )

It's taking FOREVER for everything to be ready, I still haven't eaten my thanksgiving meal yet. I haven't been this hungry in a while. Right now my weight is probably down from this morning, maybe I should weigh again for my low.

So, it's OK for a powerlifting meet, but not this? I don't understand that logic.

But I "cut" by not eating my usually dinner last night, that's it. Nothing unpride-ful IMHO.

I'm done I gave it my all but I think Im gonna explode. I was shooting for 10lbs but only got 7.2lbs. Now I got to get ready for some serious black friday shopping starting at midnight come home rest up and get going for the long haul at 4 am :(

I was 138.5 this morning at around 9ish. Now at 9:14 pm, I weigh 145. Approx 6.5 lbs.
I look like a stik with an olive through it. Thought about having one of my weight gain shakes, but I am just unable.
I even explained to my folks what I was doing. I am an English prof, a motorcycle club member, and a powerlifter. All these things are considered to be the craziest of crazies to my family.
They thought this was strange too, so in that sense their reaction to my "abnormality" was normal. Ha ha ha.

Have to be honest, I took a similar approach as Vincent did. I haven't taken a protein shake all day (although that's about to change) and I just ate as I pleased which still turned out to be a lot, but I didn't push myself too hard.

Thanksgiving is easily one of my most favorite holidays though with all that good food.

I maxed out my scale at home, which means I'm 340+ ( I have a video of that too, but it's kind of meaningless ). My gym ( where I normally weigh myself ) is closed, so my real number will not be known, but it was at least 16 pounds ( and I've only had my first desert so far ).

EDITED: After eating another slice of pie, I feel like puking. As I've said here before, I'm very serious about my diet, LOL, I eat everything in sight, and there was a lot of food in sight today, but it's all gone now. Oh man.

I got to 301 and sent a few guys picks of the scale reading. Scary partis I actually didn't feel that bloated. I went easy on the food till dinner time. Breakfast and lunch were pretty much normal. Now Time to quit ****ing around and get back within 20lbs of 275 I don't want to have to cut any more then that. I have a meet picked if training stays dead on.

Ate little and weighed at 10pm at 218.8
this morning weighed again and came in a 212.6

I ate two helpings is all and felt I ate very little.

I weighed in 176.8lbs before the gym in shorts and a tshirt yesterday.

I weighed myself when I got home and was 188lbs butt naked.

I also managed to plug most of what I ate yesterday into fitday.....420f/1300c/300p ~10,000 calories.

So my day looked like this.

120g cookie crisp + 1.5c milk

20g BCAA's intra workout

115g Reeses puffs + whey + milk

ham and cheese sandwich

Turkey
Mashed potatos
Gravy
stuffing
cranberry sauce
salad

Turkey

stuffing
cranberry sauce

3 big slices of strawberry cheesecake w/ whipped cream
Dark chocolate

I had the most pitiful results of all. Missed getting to eat the "heavy" meal for lunch at my sister's. Everybody showed up late and we had a deadline to be at my Mother in Law's house. We only had "finger food" at "Little Mama's" since everyone else had their big meals earlier. It's hard to eat several pounds of celery, cauliflower, brocolli, cucumbers, carrots, mini-sandwiches and cips & dip! I weighed 264.6 when I woke up and 267.0 before I went to bed. Just 2.4 Lbs. I'm so ashamed! I should be banished to the lightweight classes! LOL!

You're under 275. You're already in the light weight class.

...Good point! But I used to weigh 300...and I stayed in a Holiday Inn once!
