When dieting, everybody wants to cut the body fat while trying to maintain as much of the hard earned muscle you've gained during the bulk. When cutting I've heard so many different things, definately keeping the protein high. But in terms of Macrobutrient breakdown what would you suggest for somebody who's trying to cut body fat, while maintaining most of, or all muscle? (for example 40/40/20 (p/c/f), or 33/33/33)

I love builts answer; "Our bodies can't do math."

1) Support your requirements
2) Fill in the rest with whatever best controls your hunger

So once you've got your protein and fat REQUIREMENTS settled. The rest of your cals can come from anywhere.

In terms of fat requirements what would you recommend as a goal percentage for each day?

^--Half a gram per pound of bodyweight split fairly evenly between saturates, polyunsaturates and monounsaturates.

All good answers.

Yes I agree, meet your requirments of protein, then get in what fills you up.

33/33/33 works for me.

This question shows you didn't read the answer Holto took the time to write.
