hi there i have been westside barbell training but have a bench press competition in 4 weeks so need to start training more in my shirt what day do i do my bench shirt work on dynamic or max effort or totally seperate day

I train raw.
I compete in single ply gear with USAPL.
To stay in touch with my gear, I take a single attempt in full gear on each ME day and on my DE day when I squat and deadlift. On day 4, DE bench press, I do not take a heavy single wearing a bench shirt. I never take more than a single attempt since I get stronger training raw. So three days out of four days I wear gear for one heavy single at the end of my workout. A heavy, single attempt does not exhaust my nervous system.
On my ME days I may use a bar other than a 7' powerlifting bar. If so, I take a few minutes to change bars so that I can take a heavy squat or bench press wearing gear. This system works well for me. I stay in touch with my single ply gear, but I allow my body to get stronger by training raw.
