What are these? What do they do? And someone told me coffee is a source of them/it, is that true?

This should be posted on the supplement board!
A thermogenic is:
A dieting supplement designed to burn fat while preserving lean muscle tissue. It operates on the priciples of inceasing metabolic rate, preserving muscle tissue, and suppressing appetite. They often contain things like ephedra, caffein, bitter orange extract, white willow extract, L-cartinine, chromium picolinate, other trace minerals and B-complex viatmins. The most common brands are Xenadrine, Hydroyxcut, ripped fuel by Twinlab, and Stacker. If you ask this question on the supplement board you would likely get more or better information than what I can provide on thermogenics.
