View Full Version : What should i eat for bulking up?

I'm 161 pounds and i wanna gain 20 pounds. what should i eat to reach to that? Thanks in advance!

whole milk, peanut butter, mac n cheese, chicken, and almonds are all calorie-dense foods. I'd also try to come up with a large-calorie shake, as it's a lot easier to drink calories than eat them. search bako shake.

This...If you don't care about gaining fat. Otherwise, I like Platypus' suggestion minus the mac and cheese. If you're looking for muscle, focus on calorie dense foods that are also high in protein.

Mac n' cheez with 3 cans of tuna, and 2 more tbps of butter is a great meal.

Just eat. Eat until you're uncomfortable and then eat some more. Don't skimp on your lifting, keep it heavy and intense. You'll gain some good weight.

Yeah, good weight along with plenty of bad weight. For powerlifting purposes I agree, this works for pushing bigger numbers. For having an attractive physique? Not so much.
