Okay,

1. When you are cutting, ive heard you should do 500 cals below maintenace and 3x cardio a week.. now one thing that isn't clear to me. when you are doing the 3x cardio a week for lets say a half hour.. ur burning almost 400 calories.. do you make up for this by eating an extra 400 cals? or do you just leave it and end up being -900 below maintenace for the day?

2. Why do people recommend doing cardio on the treadmill or w/e instead of fat loss? wouldnt that be better?

500 is about 1lb of fat lost per week. If you are burning 400 calories on the treadmill, you only need to eat 100 less calories per day.
