Hi guys,

I have just joined up here to get some tips and motivation to reach my goal of a 'leaner' 210lbs by the summer.

I used to swim to national level and was 'top heavy' in so far that I used my upper body much more in comparison to my lower body. I took up the gym when I stopped competing. My weight always seem to pile on my arms and I'm slow to grow the other areas, even when I train arms just once a month!

Anyway, that's me in a nutshell. Hope you like the pix :-)

You are a very lean 200lbs. A slow clean bulk would be perfect to get you to that 210lbs

Hey man, good to have you here. Who did you swim for?

I swam USS for the Dallas Mustangs. I swam 100 back in the T(Texas)AGS and consistently got 3rd for about 10 years but never got fast enough to qualify for NAGS. I got 2nd when I was 18 and shortly thereafter messed up my RC, lost my spot and have not swam since.

Find a good routine (one with squats and DLs) and you should be in a good position. Welcome to the boards!
