I will be attending as a member of the Omega Force Christian Team.http://www.omegaforceone.com/ The group will be doing many strength demonstrations. Also, I will be taking pictures for my House of Pain blog too. Should be another great event! Look forward to watching the bench press competition and the exhibition in the Animal Cage.

Good Luck. When i did the Arnold bench bash in 2007 it took me 40 minutes to walk through the crowd just to get to the warm up area. And I only walked about 100 yards.

Its crazy there.

What the heck is Hoonstra up to? Haven't heard anything from him in a while.

Hope everyone has a great time.

I went last year and saw some westside guys and Iron Chamber guys lifting at the muscle pharm booth. Great time because at that point I had never been to a comp before.

But I seriously doubt I will ever go again. Way tooooooooooo small a building for so many people. Not to mention overhearing all the idiotic comments people said while passing by was really annoying. Everything from "thats only 225 I can do that" when they were warming up with 100 pound plates as well as the every so often "I know they're strong but they are fatter than ****" coming from guys generally weighing in the 100 pound range.

me and my son are thinking of traveling down there. This would be our first time there..
.what does it cost?
is it better to buy tickets before or at the door?
we can only go friday and saturday so we need tickets for both days...
any hotels nearby?

thanks

Yeah you will need tickets for both days. $10 for each day..will get you into about everything. Just not the BB shows & competitions. But the PL, expo, and about everyother venue they have (cheerleading, martial arts, arm wrestling, ping pong, etc....) There are tons of hotels w/in 20 mins. Most that are very close are all booked up tho.

Yup....then $10 is all you need. You will make up for it w/ free samples in the expo. :-) I did the BB show one yr.....$75 a tix and was a mile away. It was cool to go(first time ever to a mjor BB show), but wouldn't pay it again.

You can stay at a hotel on the edge of town (out near the beltway in Worthington or Dublin) and be just fine. It's an easy drive into the center of town where the expo is, only maybe 20 minutes or so, plus the hotel rooms will be much cheaper.
