Rhodes talks about it here: http://asp.elitefts.com/qa/default.asp?qid=113986&tid=

Wk 1 - 3's + 2-3 singles
Wk 2 - 5's
Wk 3 - 5/3/1 + 1-2 singles
Wk 4 - 5's deload

Its like that, only hitting the prescribed reps for that day. Anyone try this or have an opinion on it? I'm on my fourth cycle of the 5/3/1 and might try this for my 5th cycle or after my meet at the end of march.

This is just something that someone asked me and I thought would be a nice addition to the 5/3/1. JIf you're looking to handle some heavier weights, this is something you can do. Never take it to max. Just make it heavy, but absolutely no chance of you missing the attempt.

Thanks Mr. Rhodes! Would you recommend using the same weight for each single or going up like 5-10lbs each attempt? Also, would you recommend doing this for the military press as well (meaning can it only be done for some of the lifts, or should all be done in this manner)?
