I want to trim 2" on the neck/upper back portion of my f6 (elastic part) so I can pull the front panel lower. Will the shirt still be legal for APF rules? If not, what can I do to make it legal?

As long as your armpit is not visibile from the front then you should be fine.

You can cut the back completely open and it will be legal in the apf.

Yes it will be legal... Send it to Andersonpowerlifting and Ken will modify it for you for a very reasonable amount.
($30-40 range I think)
