here's my medley run for the metroflex mayhem grip contest last weekend for the win! Missed the 240lb rolling thunder and 275lb 2" v-bar along with the heaviest of blobs...the first two are my bread and butter but having run a full contest I guess my hands were gas'd.

The highlight of my day was getting the inch dumbbell and loadable inch dumbbell double deadlift.

I love that remark...and I agree with not asking how much weight it was. You looked like a kid in a candy store lifting all those weights.

Wicked,
Kick a** grip work bro... I've tried that rolling thunder before & I know how tough they are!

Did you do any gripper closures for the comp?

sure did!

rolling thunder is another solid event for me... I pulled 257 if i remember right at the georgia invitational comp I attended last summer. I think I could've gotten it had I just dug in and not felt rushed. I finished the comp with plenty of time left.

there were around 30 grippers. I closed the second hardest which came out about 187 actual pounds. The COC4 that was there..the final and hardest gripper was rated at 194lbs. I got it set and that was it. HUGE difference. You really are a cut above if you ever close a COC4...

Wicked,
I've heard how hard the CoC #4 is... Some guys describe it's like trying to crush a brick!

I've got a long way to go to get the #3 but I have done the 2.5 once!
