I just got back from the Lexen Pro/Am. One of the biggest snow storms in awhile sure didn't stop a lot of people from making this meet. It was by FAR the most fun I've ever had at a meet. The lexen guys put on a great show.

As far as some interesting things I saw this weekend...

1) I saw a kid w/ a bench shirt on in the warm-up room doing curls....yes....thats not a joke. Sorry no video

2) I had Wendler come over to me after my opening squat and go "I thought I heard your name....broke neck and all your still making it work huh?"

3) Got to see Chuck V toy w/ somewhere around 900 in the warmup room on the squat, then later he pulled 675 so damn fast he almost fell over backwards w/ it.

4) Watching Chuck sit in his room w/ an IV bag hanging from his lamp after weigh-ins...I don't know HOW he made the 242's, because he looked enormous

Most noteable: Matt Wenning passing out face first after his 3rd pull....priceless!!!

I honestly don't know how he did it either. He was bigger then I've ever seen him.

Yeah, he got a little light-headed after that last pull. He eventually got his bearings and pulled himself up. I thought about trying to catch him as he started stumbling, but me being a mere 280 thought better of it.

Chuck's only been in the mid 250's training for this meet, didn't have much of a cut. But he's so damn lean his weight drops are tough on him.
