Yes i've read the article, but besides the suggestions there can anybody provide a list of foods and their carb rating?

Thanks in advance!

^^

Nuts are not a low calorie food, and the OP is asking about carbs.

eat carbs w/ portein , what i mean is good clean complex carbs, green veg and some fruit (simple sugar carbs) , use portion control and eat all natural foods not processed. eat carbs w/portein, such as chicken ,turkey, lean red meats, fish, etc the gi index is no good when protein and carbs are eaten together. also good essential fats are also recommed, nuts, peanuts, almonds, walnuts etc. carbs don't necessarly hurt you or make you fat you just need to know what types to eat and how much to eat. only your body knows, you have to find that out trial and error or hire a personal tranier for help. hope this helps a little

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glycemic_index

http://www.carbs-information.com/gi-values-carbohydrates.htm

I can't vouch for the accuracy of either, but I found some of the GI Values at least somewhat surprising in the latter source.
