Read that article the other day.
I completely and totall agree with it.
Bill Starr has written some great stuff. His 5 x 5 programs that he wrote for football players are what pushed me towards powerlifting. Really simple, but really effective.

that website's a nice resource. I'd quibble tho a bit with his Squat article, seems he addvocates far too much of a forward lean.

That is because he is demonstrating a raw and a oly style squat opposed to a powerlifting squat. Although for M/E work I would not squat like that either.
