Just turned 16 on February 4th and this picture was taken January 28th. I'm weighing in at 176 now and my goal for April/May is to reach the 190-200 range. I'm going to be a junior on my football team and am a strong candidate for fullback, but I must gain some weight. I just got on ON Serious Mass and N.O. xplode for 2 days and am enjoying both of them so far. Will post more pictures monthly to track my progress.

Maxes right now:
Bench - 245x1
Squat - 445x1
Power Clean - 205x1
Push Press - 205x1

Goals for May:
Bench - 275x1
Squat - 500x1
Power Clean - 235x1
Push Press - 225x1

Damn man nice lifts for just being 16 years old. whats your deadlift numbers lookin like?

For my football team we're not really required to do deadlifts for whatever reason so we don't max out in them. We do t-bar deadlift though in sets of 8. I normally do 275x8 on the t-bar which I'd imagine is easier. Really not sure though. One of these days I'll see what I can do, just for my own enjoyment.

One of these days I really will have to tape it. My 3 rep max is 405 and my one rep is 445. We had to do a 1 rep and 3 rep this week for football max week. It's a parallel squat, not below parallel even though when I don't max I always go below parallel. For how tall you were, they put a box to hit your butt off of so you were parallel in order for the max to count. In a week or 2 when I recover maybe I'll stay later after my lifting day that I feel good and tape it and put it up here.

i believe you if thats the case. very nice. you should work on your conventional dead.. it would explode if youre hitting those squat #'s raw already

Ya, I would like to see a vid of that. And I bet you could pull some decent numbers if you dead lift too. A friend of mine from high school was crazy strong for his age and weight. I still bug him about lifting and tell him to complete but he has not touched a weight in years.

Sounds like a kid my brother graduated with. Had rediculous god given strength without dedicating to lifting in the least bit and everyone always told him to get involved and he could get somewhere. He's like 6'9 330 and not fat yet he just puts his body to waste. Just a really thick kid who's athletic, but an idiot.
