I've recently started taking ON Serious Mass and N.O. xplode but I know it's not all about just supplements. I'm not really too good at keeping track of a diet so if anyone can suggest to me foods to eat and a suggested diet plan, I'd very greatly appreciate it. I've never truly bulked before so I'm willing to try as hard as I need to to do this. Thanks a bunch guys.

Since I'm feeling generous, I'll post these links to the stickies that are posted at the top of this very forum.

You can also do a search on the word "bulking" and peruse the plethora of information that comes up.

I know this sounds harsh but, as I've said in other similar threads, we'll help you but we're not going to do the work for you. There are people that get paid a lot of money to do what you want us to do for free. Spend some time reading and learning, then come back with more specific questions. You'll get a lot more useful information if you show you've put in some effort on your own.

I always assume no one ever asked the same question as me and I never search. I really need to get in a habit of that because I always get annoyed when questions are repeated but I do it myself. My bad man. Sorry to be a pest. Thanks for the links though.

He's 16. If he receives good help getting started, who knows where he'll be in a decade?

Try this for starters:
http://www.highproteinfoods.net/
http://lowcarbdiets.about.com/od/whattoeat/a/highproteinfood.htm
http://stanford.wellsphere.com/healthy-eating-article/the-5-best-protein-sources-for-building-muscle/8456?query=List+Of+High+Protein+Foods

And go all over this website.
More info here than you can read in a month.

why the rush? a little over 2lbs a week and you'll be putting on a good deal of fat in time frame (my guess). Be better off aiming for 1lb of solid mass a week.

Also, tracking diet is so easy that 'not being good' is no excuse. www.fitday.com or www.livestrong.com/thedailyplate are two user friendly diet tracking sources. Hop on once a night and in 5 minutes you have your whole days eats...

Search for how to gain 10lbs in 2 months. I did it. Gained a bit of fat as well but honestly it was soooo simple. Never miss breakfast. Followed each meal with a ~900 cal shake. And made sure to eat as much protein as possible. Milk and meat!!!! Good luck.

At his stage, is that really true?

I'm sure I gained more than a lb a week in my run up to 190, and I only gained a small amount of fat. I've been reading 70sbig.com and at Rippetoe's gym its pretty standard for their kids to add 15 pounds in two or three weeks.

This guy has some very good lifts for his age, so with the right eating he could really blow up. 3 months is quite a long time.

There's actually been a bit of a ****storm lately over at the SS forums because of this funnily enough, due to people over at the lyle mcdonald forum quoting only .5lbs lean a week and overs who say 2-3lb is attainable for a young noob.

Personally I think its getting a bit overblown and there's no need to bust out the rice cakes just yet mind ;)

(christ that wink emotion looks incredably smug)
