View Full Version : Carb Rotation for an Oly Lifter

Hello,

I'm interested in trying carb cycling to drop down a weight class. My issue is that the article I found on here said to rotate in relation to your split. For Oly lifting we don't do a traditional bodybuilding workout that everyone is used to.

Monday
snatch and clean and jerk with accessory movements(power snatch, clean pulls, etc.) and abs.

Tuesday
push press, shoulder press, bench press, superset(push-up variations, dips, pull-ups, curls).

Wednesday
back squat, front squat, leg press, deadlift, and abs.

Thursday
cardio and general fitness(rope climb, biking, tire flipping/suplexing, etc.

Friday
same as Monday

Anyone how any ideas how to do a carb rotation for this? All of the days are just as intense, which makes it hard to figure out how to split it up.

Id do high cal/carb on heavy WO days and lower on lighter/off/cardio days. Try that for a while and see what happens. Id really suggest doing some reading in Ultimate Diet 2.0 to give you some ideas and background.

Mon/Tue/Wed/Fri = high

Thu/Sat/Sun =low
